“I don’t know if it’s just poor single me, but whenever I crave some action, no one’s available. I hate not being able to do anything about it, so I signed up for adult hookup sites like SaucyDates. Since I’m only here for the sex, I like the no-brainer layout and that they don’t require a lot of detail in your profile. Sadly, I haven’t been dating yet thanks to this site. But since SaucyDates doesn’t require that much effort, I guess I’ll stick around.”, Jess, 25

Since messaging is the main feature on this dating site, the only purchase you’ll decide on is if you’ll subscribe to their VIP access. Choose among the four monthly subscription periods: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months worth of VIP access.
With your VIP subscription, you'll get full access to the contact features. You'll be able to read messages, respond, and send images. What's probably neat is that communication won't be limited to the members near you. You can also expand your horizons.
The VIP subscription lets you get in touch with popular members to your heart's content. You can even start steamy conversations elsewhere by matching with global users.

Who is signed up on SaucyDates in Hong Kong?
Exclusively on DatingScout: online member numbers for dating services are usually far off, so we estimate how many people are really on SaucyDates from traffic data and interest, updated monthly, with history.
In Hong Kong, SaucyDates has over 100,000 adult users and growing: every month, there is an estimated count of at most 5,000 people who join this dating site.
The members of SaucyDates, with the majority being 25 to 34-year-olds, are all down for a steamy night or two. These people are just looking to satisfy their sexual fantasies and are game to try other rather unconventional activities.
Although SaucyDates advocates real interactions and hookups, several reports claim that there are numerous fake accounts. Usually, an indication of this concern is when multiple accounts message your freshly minted and still empty profile.
For SaucyDates, however, we had none of that. But we did note the plentiful accounts with no photos and introductions.
Big props to SaucyDates for its policy on inclusivity. What’s rather neat about this dating site is how they separated gender and sexuality. They went the next step and further segregated the options to fully represent the people who are part of the growing array that is the rainbow community.

Design & usability
SaucyDates sports a simple design. Featuring the bare necessities set against a backdrop of white and hot pink, using the adult dating site is quite easy.
What’s a little unique at SaucyDates is the placement of its tabs. Unlike the usual horizontal orientation, the tabs on SaucyDates are vertically stacked to the left side. These tabs are:
- Search
The Search tab leads you to the filters you can customise: gender, orientation, age range, and location. You can also filter results depending on the time they were active, their distance, and pictures.
- Upgrade
This tab leads you to the payment page. It includes the payment links and the directions should you cancel your subscription.
- Me
This tab leads you to your own profile. Upload photos and edit your profile here.
- Chat Alerts
The Chat Alerts tab shows all the messages: Hot, Flirts, or direct, you received.
- Chat on Cam
This tab leads you to an external site where you can interact with live adult models.
Special features
SaucyDates lets you contact and flirt with these features:
Finding people 1
Online StatusFree
Time is essential on any dating site. After all, you can only strike up a conversation whenever your potential match is online. SaucyDates includes a nice little feature that gives you an idea when a member was last seen online. This way, you can focus on the people who are the most active.
- Green. When the dot is green, it means the member is online within the week. Since members usually log in weekly, you can consider them the most active.
- Orange. This signifies that a member logged in within 21 days.
- Red. A red dot is for the most inactive member. They didn’t log in for more than 21 days.
Showing interest 1
Flirt MessageFree
Of course, there are times when you’re too busy to log in. Fear not! With Flirt Message, SaucyDates keeps the ball rolling for you. This pre-composed message comes from you. SaucyDates sends it out to the members who seem to be in sync with your interests.
Messaging and contact 2
Chat on CamFree
Although this is not internal to SaucyDates, the Chat on Cam feature is a rather neat way to make sure you get connected to legit and professional live models.
- Free Shows. Live models often host free shows which are perfect if you prefer to watch than interact.
- Private Shows. You can also pay the live model you like for a Private Show. This will be a separate transaction: any subscription you availed from SaucyDates won’t be affected.
International MessagesPaid
Although this is only available for paying members, sending a message across the globe is a rather neat feature. Since SaucyDates has over a million members worldwide, there’s plenty of fish in the sea. And this feature ensures you get a taste, wherever the fish may be biting.
Final results
4.1
“SaucyDates is a dating and hookup site for singles and couples of any gender orientation. Probably SaucyDates’ strong suit is its simplicity from the design to its features. However, the lack of other exciting features is probably the reasons why people won’t linger.”
